The current strategy for increasing the company's effectiveness was more descriptive, but did not contain an economically sound sequence of management actions for the technological modernization of its production assets. Updating the planned results required substantiating the technological capabilities of the company.

Consulting solution. Application of our consulting methodology allowed us to determine the potential for improving the current technology of each client’s production asset. It was revealed that the underlying asset of the company almost reached the economic limit of the development efficiency of the applied technologies, which significantly underestimated the growth potential of the economic efficiency of the entire integrated structure.

The next step was the construction of a roadmap of economically feasible capital investments, ensuring their maximum return in the form of an increase in the economic efficiency of the company for each production asset of the Client. Together with the engineering and technical personnel of the company, objects of technological modernization and draft decisions were identified that meet the requirements of the developed roadmap. The development strategy was approved by the Client and adopted.

The results of a comparison of economic and technological assessments of the effectiveness of a group of client enterprises and a new production asset made it possible to justify the feasibility of the integration process. In addition, our experts have developed a detailed roadmap for the development of production technologies for the new asset, which will increase its effectiveness to the level of the entire client group of companies. Problem. Lack of an effective methodology for managing the technological modernization of the enterprise in conditions of significant depreciation of fixed assets and limited financial resources.

Consulting solution. An economic analysis of the technological processes of the enterprise showed pronounced imbalances in the production efficiency of various products for various purposes. In order to identify points of low efficiency, the throughput of technical objects at each stage of technological processes was investigated. The limiting links that have priority in determining the priority of modernization are identified. Specific objects of economically sound investment have been identified.

Result. A program for the modernization of fixed assets has been developed that takes into account the unique specifics of the two-vector production process. The program is primarily focused on the high return of modernized technologies and contains an economic justification for the directions and volumes of capital investments. In addition, the proposed consulting solution is provided with its own financial model of operating and investment flows, which for a long time have provided the enterprise with the formation of its own financial development reserves for the transition to a new level of technology.
