Customer company. High-tech integrated producer of metallurgical products.

Problem. The current strategy for increasing the company's effectiveness was more descriptive, but did not contain an economically sound sequence of management actions for the technological modernization of its production assets. Updating the planned results required substantiating the technological capabilities of the company.

Consulting solution. Application of our consulting methodology allowed us to determine the potential for improving the current technology of each client’s production asset. It was revealed that the underlying asset of the company almost reached the economic limit of the development efficiency of the applied technologies, which significantly underestimated the growth potential of the economic efficiency of the entire integrated structure.

The next step was the construction of a roadmap of economically feasible capital investments, ensuring their maximum return in the form of an increase in the economic efficiency of the company for each production asset of the Client. Together with the engineering and technical personnel of the company, objects of technological modernization and draft decisions were identified that meet the requirements of the developed roadmap. The development strategy was approved by the Client and adopted.

Result. The implementation of the consulting project allowed to increase the efficiency of the technological complex of the Client’s production assets. In order to build the potential of economic and technological development of the Client’s base production asset, our team economically substantiated the feasibility of product diversification of the business and determined key performance indicators of the introduced technological process of new product manufacturing.
